2. Not Stupid, Intentional
The 4 blue states they left off make it look like a tie, and they're all geographically SMALL states
so it is not obvious what they have done right away when looking at the map.

3. To be fair, they also left off Republican states.
If you add it up, McCain has 265 electoral votes, Obama 273. Pretty close.

any pollster, go read Nate Silver at http://www.fivethirtyeight.com
