Did Tucker Bounds REALLY just say that!?!?!

In a heated discussion with Contessa Brewer on MSNBC, Bounds was talking about Obama and said, "...so let's just call (PAUSE) what it is, what it is." Now, am I being OVERLY senstive, but I think we all know what he was probably about to say before he stopped himself. It doesn't seem THAT different than suggesting Obama was calling Palin a pig. But actually, I think this is worse!!!

he was trying to accuse Obama of doing the same thing Obama accuses McCain of doing, and he said "Let's just call (PAUSE) what it is what it is." But it seemed pretty clear to me, the slight pause was there because he thought it might be a bad idea to say "Let's call a spade a spade." He was right, that would have been bad. But even though he stoipped himself, it seems to me the damage was done when he started the sentence. Just like they accused Obama of doing with the lipstick comment, he HAD to know that people would fill in the blank.
