Alaskan journalists discuss Palin/McCain and Ted Stevens'
upcoming trial. For anyone who has a half hour to kill and wants some insight into how some of Alaska's journalists are viewing Palin's candidacy, McCain's takeover of our state government, her future in the state should she lose -- plus a little gossip about Ted Stevens -- please go here http://kakm.org/2008/09/19/anchorage-edition-september-19-2008/ and listen to the audio feed at the bottom of Michael Carey's comments. Paul Jenkins is an ultra-conservative, Steve MacDonald is the news director for our local NBC affiliate, Gregg Erickson is an economics expert, and Persily and Carey are independent journalists.

1. Thanks Blue. That was an interesting 30 minutes
The feeling I got from it is that when Palin/McSame lose and she goes home, Palin is going to be hound dogged by the Alaska press for clarification of all the BS she has been spewing. It should be fun to watch from your ringside seat.

it's going to be fun. People are already suggesting that she be recalled when she returns here. She really, really blew it by allowing McCain's people to take over our state government. There's nothing we hate worse than "Outside" interference. When even AP calls to the Department of Health & Social Services regarding a completely unrelated issue get referred to the McCain campaign, we're in trouble.
