3. They estimated 12,000 in Metro Park.
I have never seen that many people crammed in there.

5. This 50yo white female would have loved to have been there!
Sadly neither he nor Biden will likely be coming anywhere near Upstate NY, so I won't get the chance to see 'em:( Oh well, I'll just content myself with the knowledge that they'll be going wherever they need to to win this election!:woohoo:

7. It was a long hot muggy day. And worth every minute of it.
The beer and pizza afterwards helped to.

6. I am tired, feet are sore, and I'm a little sunburned, but WOW that was fun
The number of kids that were present was amazing. I saw dozens of little tykes with Obama and Union supporter shirts.

Imagine what it will be like for them to tell their kids that when they were little, they saw the President in Jacksonville.

9. My wife and I were amazed at the young people there.
This was not an easy thing to do. Standing in that AWESOME line wondering if you were even going to get in. All I saw were smiles.

11. What a shame they had to turn people away.
They better start getting bigger venues!

14. They should have had the event across the street.
The Stadium would hold 65,000 people.

It would have been packed.

12. Thanks for the GREAT report!
Living in Arizona - I'll never get to see him or Biden, so it's great to live vicariously
through fellow DUers :)

15. I think the closer it gets, the more they are going to concentrate on the swing states. Besides
I don't think they believe they have a chance in Arizona.
Which is only half true. We're working on turning this place blue. Once congressman at a time :)

18. My relatives in AZ HATE McCain
Mccain isn't AZ's golden boy. A lot of natives there can't stand him!

16. Stood for 4 hours!
But watching that man come out on stage with his sleeves rolled up and seeing the crowd come alive while cheering his name made it one AWESOME experience. I'm sorry that so many couldn't get in. Even if you got there early, most of the people were already in line. It's amazing what the human spirit can do when we pull together for a common cause. Sooooooooooo...Know the facts...talk to your neighbors...be sure that everyone you know is registered to vote and has a way to get to the polls. Obama's win is going to be the best thing that's happened to America in a long, long time.
I'm so proud.

17. It was a great day!!
It was wonderful, seeing such a diverse group of people coming together to see Obama! I brought my 5 yr old, who toughed it out all day and still had the energy to cheer and clap. Not going to lie though -- seeing that empty stadium WITH SEATS across the street was almost too much -- my feet are killing me :)
And yeah, if you don't know Jacksonville, it is a VERY conservative area so getting this kind of turnout was HUGE!!

19. Good for you!
I got to see him last Sunday, and I am so glad I got up at 5 am, and waited 2 hours. The people I talked to made me feel as good as seeing and listening to Obama.
