Anyone watching the Biden special on Faux News? |

7. Sharon - I am and I am shocked! |
|
They mentioned ALL of Biden's accomplishments (Vawa, crime bill, Balkans) - CNN didn't mention ONE.
The part they did on Joe's wife and daughter getting killed was done thru Beau's words at the DNC.
They are doing are better job than both CNN and msnbc together.
Using words like confident and diplomatic. Blue collar, at ease.
Pinch me.

Unreal. I am so amazed. The covered more about Joe, and it was balanced, and quite positive.
I'm truly amazed.

they still mentioned the crap, but they didn't linger on it, which is the way it should be. They pointed out his acomplishments, which I greatly appreciate!
Oh, and I kind of liked the way they had different people reporting on different parts.

They mentioned all of his accomplishments.

21. Greta's was by far the best. It was very fair and mentioned his accomplishments. |
|
Maybe because she is a lawyer turned reporter but Greta's documentary was much more thorough and did not waste time on b.s. Great interviews as well. Surprised that Ferraro actually LIKES Biden. Who knew? I though she was still p'od about Hillary not getting the VP slot. It actually mentioned the crime bill, VAWA, and the balkans. And I never saw that interview with Joe in the airplane talking about debating women in the senate, I read about it but to see it was cool. I love watching Joe in general, he is such a fighter for the things and people he believes in.

I honestly think that most people who actually know Biden like him. Lots of Repubs do, too, even though they fight about issues. I've seen him rip Lindsey Graham a new one, then use his gift of Blarney and have Lindsey smiling and looking at him adoringly.

23. "Smiling adoringly"! That is true, how can one not be won over by Joe's charm? |
|
I think that is why he does have so many people from the other side as friends. I forget who said it on the Faux special but someone (Bob Beckel?) said he has never seen Joe lose his temper personally on anyone. However, we know McLiar has many times. Both have been in the senate a long time. Did you also know that at the 9/11 memorial Joe tried to see John and say hi and John's staff told him not to come but then Joe came anyway and John wanted to know why he was there? I don't think McCain can handle his friend actually campaigning against him. He is teetering on the edge. I will try and find the article, I read it yesterday on line.

24. I read that about the 9/11 thing. I kind of feel sorry for Joe in that |
|
he may be having to face that the guy who has been his friend for so many years, isn't there any more -- that he's become a different person. I remember hearing Joe tell that it was McCain who called him first to congratulate him when Obama announced him as his pick. But I wonder if McCain is -- now that it's getting heated -- willing to toss the friendship in order to win. If so, that makes me feel sad for Biden.
