We can use the crisis to open a LOT of discussions.
It seems to me this situation rips apart the whole0 "market values" straightjacket and gives us the chance to create a lot of space to discuss further changes.

For an opener, is it not possible for Dems to ask the banks that are being saved to put a lot more investment in the areas of the country that have been left to slowly rot since Reagan(and in some cases since Nixon)?

I'm sure there are other things we can now speak out for. The Reaganomics/DLC Dem coalition is pretty much shattered by this week. We have opportunities now we haven't had for years, campers! Let's use them.
