How to ruin a good film...
So, my wife has the recent Pride & Prejudice showing on the Oxygen channel, when what do we get? An ad spot where John McCain assures us that he will take on Wall Street for us, while Obama "only offers talk and taxes." :eyes:

And, as I'm watching it, I'm thinking "I'll bet a lot of low-information voters would fall for this one hook, line, and sinker." And, even if we were to enlighten them about McCain's real record, they'd use the same rationalization they did for both Gulf Wars against our old buddy S. Hussein: "well, he didn't know the facts then, but now he does and he'll do the right thing -- after all, he's a war hero and a P.O.W.!" :puke:

OTOH, McCain looked terrible in that ad, like he was being propped up to keep him upright -- Weekend at Bernie's, anyone? If he looks like that at the first debate, Obama's going to win on the visuals alone.
