7. I've been pushing early voting when I register people |
|
Like really pushing...emphasizing that IF they vote Oct 20-31 they can go to ANY polling place in the county and not just **their** precinct.
One already registered lady came up to me with her voter registration card looking confused and asked how she was supposed to find her precinct so I showed it to her but I think she felt better when I told her if she voted early she didn't have to research on where that precinct polling booth would be.
It's pretty cool, too, since there is a weekend in the middle of that early voting time so even if they work Monday thru Friday people can still get to the polls at their convenience.

6. Will he take Marine One to Andrews Air Force Base? |
|
My son wants to paint 'Good riddance to bad rubbish' on an old sheet and put it on the roof of his house (he lives in the vicinity) and so do his neighbors. I think that would be an apt send-off.

We all remember Nixon giving that stupid wave before he got on the helicoptor. That is fitting for Bush.
Bill Clinton and Hillary and Al Gore and Tipper walked down the steps of the Capital to a limo. Then Bush, Laura, Cheney and Lynne walked down the stops and made a showing of saying goodbye before the Clintons and Gores went into the limo.
