written that. While I agree with the overall sentiment the delivery is not the class act that "Heart" is and has always been. That letter is just gross! Ann and Nancy Wilson would have never talked about women in such a stark and negative manner.

11. A&N Wilson are both Seattleites

and no doubt know The Stranger well (the column in question has been a staple of The Stranger for years). While it is possible they may take offense, I rather suspect they got a good chuckle out of it. Unfortunately for them, the song had been licensed through an agency that handled a number of their songs, and I suspect they didn't even know until they got a statement that the RNC had actually licensed it. I do suspect that they may be looking for another licensing agency after this, however.
