many people are unaware of. And would respond negatively to. Nobody likes the idea of not protecting animals. Except Palin.

he has been "educating" his friends on the playground about this issue, and the aerial wolf hunting (he saw a video about it on youtube and was mortified!)....hopefully those kids are telling their parents...

Just commenting. There's absolutely no way to rationalize endangering polar bears. None. Her crazy ideas about climate change would be exposed too. But instead, we go after the hunting, and while it has gained some traction, there are still a percentage who will excuse that where they won't excuse not protecting polar bears. It's just an example of being out of touch with the voters we need to get. We do need to do BOTH, with more attention on the polar bears. And frankly, she's endangered the salmon in her state too, and there has been nothing on that either.

18. That's the problem-o with text messages (or with me) -- can't pick up

the actual intent of the post a lot of the times. I interpreted your post as your opinion that the wolves were a more important issue (and I could get behind that especially since the only reason they wanted the wolves killed, was because their preying on the caribou and moose cut into their hunting revenue). And I'm in agreement with the polar bears - absolutely no reason for her to take that route except, as you say, her ding bat opinion on global warming. Plus, a polar bear might touch someone's heart where a wolf or a salmon might not - on a purely tug-at -the-heartstrings kind of way.

She is so dangerous on SO many levels...
