I just sprayed tea all over my keyboard as I was reading this morning's paper.

Past Mayor of San Francisco, and past Speaker of the house in California, Willie Brown from this morning's SF Chronicle:

"The best thing McCain can do - in fact, the only thing McCain can do - is to throw Bush under the bus once and for all."

but better yet:

"Those trillions (sic) of dollars that were "lost" didn't go up in smoke. Somebody got the money"

and the crowner:

"So Obama ought to be talking about how he is going to hunt down those greedy bastards and make them give it back."

1. Well.... if I sold a house 5 years ago to someone who is in default now.. I got some of that money

I am not sure that hunting down everyone who made a profit on a real estate deal in the last 7 years is a good idea.



BTW. I have been in the same house for 12 years now... I don't have any of that money

bought it. I got the money and am slowly returning it to him lol

I am an attorney who put together asset-backed securitizations, home equity loans to be precise.

Made a reasonably good-living for 20 or so years doing that, but out of work and looking now.
