1. I think it was considered a compromise, but it will work in our favor:

9. That's an excellent analysis.
I'm not worried about the debate. Hell, Biden has been doing these for years. He knows what he's doing.

14. That's Not The Point
Biden would shine in any format...

2. We didn't...I believe it was between the election commission and the McCain Campaign..
"The Obama campaign was reportedly not involved in the discussion, with advisors to Biden claiming they were comfortable with whatever rules were put in place. The negotiations were between the Commission on Presidential Debates, a non-partisan organization, and McCain advisors."

3. Why wouldn't we?
If we (or more appropriately, our leadership) have been so wiling to cave on absolutely everything for the past 8+ years, why wouldn't they cave on the format of the VP debate? I'm surprised that the Presidential debates aren't being moderated by Hannity.

5. It isn't the format that matters
It's the players that count.

Besides the Pubs will complain anyway!

11. The format matters
if it prevents the American people from examining the candidates' (bimbo's) knowledge, or lack of it.

The American people have a right to see how vapid Palin is.

The Dems shouldn't have caved to this.

10. Well, they Obama said do whatever... Joe doesn't need any help like
your girl does.. So, McCain people did everything they could to make it easier for her... People knowing past debates will understand Obama didn't make any special rules for his VP because Joe's actually qualified to be VP unlike Sara Mooseburger. Its better than McCain cancelling all together.. which is a possibility.

13. No need to worry
Biden is sooo much above her in knowledge and understanding, he will shine within any format. She is like a silly parrot repeating several phrases over and over again.
