When Atheists Attack A noted provocateur rips Sarah Palin
Let me confess that I was genuinely unnerved by Sarah Palin's performance at the Republican convention. Given her audience and the needs of the moment, I believe Governor Palin's speech was the most effective political communication I have ever witnessed. Here, finally, was a performer who—being maternal, wounded, righteous and sexy—could stride past the frontal cortex of every American and plant a three-inch heel directly on that limbic circuit that ceaselessly intones "God and country." If anyone could make Christian theocracy smell like apple pie, Sarah Palin could.

1. Here's a great comment on the article....
Comment: People of religious inclinations are often so insecure and self projected that they have to portray an image of absolute certainty , of absolute trustworthiness and moral superiority and therefore make the worst bosses, chiefs, spouses and partners. This type of personality has a name : compulsive personality disorder. This people are inflexible, they take any form of criticism or disagreement as a personal injury leashed upon their character. They are usually very controlling in very aspect of their life's, wether at the office or in all types of human relationships. Palin's record exhibits all of those characteristics and the Pentecostal religion being the most dogmatic, restrictive, sexually repressive protestant religion is full of these types of personalities. This country has turned against reason and has embraced superstition, myth and religious bigotry. Once upon a time we elected politicians that pandered to these people but were not openly claiming that they were one of them and therefore ruled from the center. Now, we are electing and placing them in the highest government and court positions. If Obama, who is also a self declared Christian, - a characteristic that appears to be litmus test for American politics-- does not get elected , we will be stepping right into the Dark Ages.

3. If McCain and the Jesus Party steal another election, THEY'RE fucked.
It'll be time to take our country back, by whatever means necessary.

They'll never be able to get the troops back in time, and a good portion of them would join US anyway.

They're just as sick of these fuckers as we are.

That leaves the Blackwater goons and we outnumber them by a HUGH! margin.

V for Vendetta time!
