Wow-Faux was the ONLY cable news network to mention Biden's Violence Against Women Act! |
|
I'm watching Faux's version of Biden's bio. I already saw CNN's and MSNBC's bios, and neither of them even MENTIONED Biden's VAW work! What a surprise!

1. They want their braindead listeners to associate Biden |
|
with violence against women.

5. Or they want their brain-dead wife-beaters |

to know Biden is interfering with their way of life.

Want to make sure all the knuckle-draggers know that Biden is responsible for sending them to jail when they were, gosh, just trying to defend themselves.

19. That doesn't make sense. |
|
Because if they'd been to jail then they most likely can't vote (because that's the way repugs want it).

23. First, I don't think it's a felony |
|
and second, most states do allow felons to vote, they just don't tell people when they get out of prison.

2. Are you sure about the others? |

I saw MSNBC's version last night and I'm certain that it did.
I have CNN's on DVR, I got interrupted while watching that one.

And, I hate to say it, but Fox got it all right. CNN-hatchet job. MSNBC--covert hatchet job. Fox-balanced and informative.
And, yeah, I was amazed too.

The Fox bio was full of snide asides. The tone was disrespectful. MSNBC did the best job. CNN did a somewhere in-between job. It doesn't matter what particular bill was mentioned or not; it's the tone that matters.

10. You watched 2 minutes of it, and you think you are qualified to say that?? |
|
bullshit. It was a good piece. Period. I don't care who did it, it was fair. CNN was a hatchet job, and as I said, MSNBC was a covert hatchet job.
The show was an hour long, yet, you judged it in 2 minutes...you just lost all credibility with me.

3. I watched 2 minutes of it |
|
and in those 2 minutes there were several negative points or innuendos made about Biden. I immediately turned it off. It was the worse profile of Biden of the three I've seen, which, of course, would be expected of Fox. I checked in just to see if maybe, just maybe, they might do an OK job.

We are in disagreement here, but that's what I saw. OK, if it is shown again, I'll watch some more of it. Maybe I just saw the worst 2 minutes.

Some people let their obvious bias dictate their opinions. I don't like Fox anymore than anyone else does, but they got this right.

20. Fox's unfortunately was the best. |
|
Edited on Sun Sep-21-08 03:13 PM by Jennicut
It was done by Greta Van Susteren. I don't think she is a Rethug. It was probably the fairest. CNN left out important stuff about his accomplishments and MSNBC had a lot of negative stuff as well. Fox's actually surprisingly did not dwell much on the negative stuff and had great interviews with his friends. I hate to admit it but it was well done and I would like to see it again. I am just happy that all 3 news channels actually did something about Joe!

25. Well I haven't seen any of them but this just goes to show, that we each |
|
interpret input differently. Although, FOX seems to be the most fair and balanced according to the most people.
Actually I saw Chris Wallace taking some Repub to task, too, and that was pretty shocking as well.
Maybe they see the writing on the wall -- the Dems are gonna win it, and FOX may not be the place to be working next year. :7
