4. I still kinda have a huge problem with the whole special interest connections that the Dems have.

I'm really hoping that they won't cave and write a fucking blank check to the Bush administration. I really hope that they stand their ground.

The tendency to politically cave in is the single most aggravating quality that the Democratic party has and even with Obama at the helm, the other Democrats have the annoying tendency to whimper at the slightest drop of the hat. And it's too important a time right now for them to be weak in the face of incompetency and disaster.

But the general idea of the bill will most likely get passed by week's end, or early next week (delaying the scheduled recess)
