Obama WILL win the debates-ALL of them-no matter HOW well McCain prepares because... |
|
Edited on Sun Sep-21-08 09:50 PM by jenmito
Obama has the TRUTH on his side. McCain will come at Obama with all his lies and Obama will be right there to shoot 'em down. Same when McCain starts lying about his "maverick" ways. Obama will be right there to point out how he has flip-flopped on ALL of those positions. Don't worry about it-look forward to it! These debates will be the final nails in McCain's coffin. :)

1. Being right on the issues certainly helps. But some people like the bumper stickers and |

Barack tends to speak in complete sentences.

9. If what we saw on 60 Minutes tonight is any indication - |
|
even though it wasn't a one on one debate, Obama will win hands down. His answers were quick and concise. McCain has nothing left.

17. I Don't Know - McCain Lies Really Well and With Conviction - Remember John Lewis Reference? |
|
If you listed to John McCain at Saddleback, you would think that McCain was best buds with John Lewis. However, John Lewis later confirmed that they rarely speak, and they disagree on most issues. Also, tonight, when asked on 60 minutes who McCain would appoint to replace Chris Cox, McCain quickly said Andrew Cuomo, a Democrat. I bet when you get down to it, Cuomo and McCain also have nothing in common just like McCain and Lewis.
The point is that McCain lies very quickly, and very well, and the debate is more about appearances than substance.

|
Edited on Mon Sep-22-08 10:16 AM by jenmito
Yes, I saw how many lies McCain told at Saddleback on 60 Minutes, in ads, and everywhere else. I seriously doubt he'll get away with them with Obama right there to call him on them. McCain DOES lie with conviction. But Obama has the truth on his side, and that's why I think he will win the debates. All he has to do is be aggressive and not let McCain get away with those lies.

19. I think Obama's performance at the debates should be of extreme concern to every one. |
|
Edited on Mon Sep-22-08 10:33 AM by nc4bo
I'm terrified he'll say something stupid like Bomb bomb bomb the Kremlin or something.
I am very concerned that Obama will not do well. He really is overmatched by Mccain. It's common fact that Mccain has such a strong, strong background on issues such as the economy, foreign policy and national security that Obama will be at a severe disadvantage and way out of his league.
I'm concerned.
Have I already mentioned that I am concerned?
I really am concerned.

I hope he's practicing using lines that'll get under McCain's skin.

24. True. But I think Obama will be able to bring out the worst in McCain. |
|
And Obama, if he smiles, jokes a little while calling McCain out on his lies, will come out surprising EVERYONE since the bar has been set so low for him.

25. I agree. If McCain loses his cool, even a little bit, it would be good |
|
because I think McCain has a dangerous temper--or at least that's what those who know him in the Senate say.
Plus it goes to "temperament to lead" as Obama has referenced before.

with his oft-repeated lies and Obama ridicules him by knocking 'em down one by one.
