7. If that was your only parameter, yes
I consistently vote against my wallets best interest - and so does a lot of people - thank god. (I don't vote in the US, just to be up front on that part)

It goes both ways of course - the only question is whether its done out of ignorance or idealogy.

But either way, how on earth they can keep the "He will raise your taxes" talking point alive is beyond me...

2. I've seen this before, but it's ALWAYS worth another look.
Thanks for posting this! A lot of people here may not have seen it the first time.

3. And yet...
... I had a friend, an Obama supporter, tell me the "upper" middle class does better under McCain's plan.

Yes, I sent him this chart a while ago.

But lets just say his opinion of the mainstream media and mine are different.

8. I sent this to my repub friend who was claiming Obama would tax me outta my house..
And her response when I sent this to her? "Well, obviously that's from the liberal media - and I don't believe a thing that they say". :eyes: It's impossible to argue with stupid - because stupid always wins.

6. great chart, except for the last line
Americans are too innumerate to know that when a distribution is skewed, like this one, that the median is the correct measure of central tendency. Most Americans think they are about "average" and that bottom line gives a false impression. The average is a useful measure to determine the overall result of the tax plans on revenue, however. McCain's would result in much bigger deficits.
