Sarah Palin draws a crowd of 1,110,000 and turn away 550,000 (another damn lie!) |

APP - Sarah Palin, without the assistance of John McCain, spoke before 1,110,000 voters at a venue that normally holds 20,000 today. According to Fire Chief Arthur Cheney, this was the biggest crowd yet for Gov. Palin. Chief Cheney said there may have been more people than that, but the fire department became overwhelmed and gave up on counting! It is true that the town has a population of 70,000, which backs up the possibility that the numbers may be accurate. The fact the venue could not have accomodated such a number of persons was not discussed with the chief.
Although crowd size had not been independently verified by CNN, or the press; CNN assured that there was no need for such verification, because that was too much work for any news organization to do. When asked for possible photos that might back up the breadth of such a crowd by the Obama Campaign, the Chief denied that he was on payroll with the McCain campaign, and that although he is related to Dick Cheney, his show of support is done for free and never on company time.
This is the biggest crowd ever gathered to hear Gov. Palin speak, and serves to demonstrate the energy that Republicans have for the bottom of their ticket. McCain spokesman said that they were overjoyed to witness Gov. Palin attracting Celebrity crowd sizes, but quickly warned that such crowd gathering are only acceptable if a Republican is drawing them.

15. It reminds me of a story I read in the local paper. A newscaster here, |
|
whom I happen to know personally, is receiving threatening mail because she looks like Palin, and "will influence the vote." Heh. People are so fucking simple.

People were so excited to be seeing Palin that not only did they fill the venue in row after row, but they were also stacked on each other, sitting on each others' shoulders in stacks of 20 to 25 each like they were all members of Cirque du Soleil or something.
They're so dedicated. We're screwed!!!1111! Series!

17. In a related story Palin wins VP debate |
|
September 21, 2008 Princeton, NJ
APP - Seventy three collegiate debate coaches have predicted that Sarah Palin will be considered the clear winner in the upcoming Vice Presidental Debate. Dr. Harvey Smythe,President of American Association of College Debaters indictated that there was wide consensus that Palin was considered such a heavy favorite for the debate that Intrade was not unlikely to even consider taking future positions on the question. Smythe outlined the reasons for the overwhelming consensus among debate experts on why Palin was thought to have such a huge advantage, "Of course she will be the first woman in 20 years to stand at a lecturn, she is from Alaska, and she is well coiffured."
Dr. Brent Upton added, "Also you have to understand that she comes from a base of zero knowledge in any thing that remotely concerned with national issues, so she is going to be graded on the curve. If for example she gets 30% of her answers in the ball park and Biden gets 80% Palin wins because we know that in two months she has moved up 30 points where Biden only moved up 5 or 10".
CNN was able to confirm that they were projected a major Palin win by running it by the CNN Debate Pundit Board. Amy Holmes, a key player on the CNN conservative knee jerk pundit group said, "I am sure that I can project Palin the winner, I bet my paycheck on it". Joe Watkins intoned, "Her references to saving unborn children spoke to the heart of the American people and made or rather will make her the clear winner. Castellanos and Sanchez actually gave their response in unison to save time "When Palin speaks to reducing the tax burden on the American people she won the hearts of the American people". It was Harold Ford pre recorded his entire debate review so that it could be aired at the networks convenience.
Smythe also congratulating CNN on retaining the title of being the "Number One Political Team on Television" and advised that he would also be joining the panel in future debate reviews as the token "white guy". CNN's near monopoly on signing every conservative African American and Hispanic pundit is seen as a brilliant coup in getting it ahead of the debate analysis, allowing them to critique the debates prior to their actually airing.
