I think Obama has a chance now to open up a huge lead. All he has to do is make a simple connection

between the Iraq War and the economic meltdown on Wall St. I can foresee him pounding this message home in the upcoming debates.

Barack has been staunchly anti-Iraq War and McCain staunchly pro-Iraq War. Everyone knows that. The voters, Republican and Democrat alike, are all pissed about the same thing for once....the taxpayer's bailout of Wall Street.

If Obama can tie the Iraq War to the bailout on Wall Street and put it in laymans terms, I think he'd win over the majority of undecided voters out there plus a slew of disgruntled Republicans. Even if he supports the bailout himself to some degree, he can still put much of the blame for this mess on the Iraq War and also on the greed of big corporations and the failed policies of Bush of course. Whatever he does, it's time to remind people that the most important difference between he and McCain is their position on the Iraq War, something the Republicans and the media want everyone to forget. It's not just about the economy, it's about the war, and we can't let them forget it.

The brokers at my company are pissed off by the bailouts and dislike the 700 billion robbery even more. And these guys are die-hard Republicans.

- Russia acted boldly in the Georgia situation without regard to the United States' opposition.
- Iran is talking about the destruction of Israel again.

Why? They know we're not in a position to do a damn thing about it.

They were both doomed to failure.
The connection can be made and you're right, it should be made.

Republicans brought us both failures, and the voting record is there to prove it.
Deregulation, lack of oversight, lies about WMD, etc. etc., this was all them.
