22. What I'd like to know is this...just out of curiousity...

Do any of us really know how this bailout of $700 Billion is supposed to be used?...IS that amount a once in a lifetime deal, or can they go back and get it several times?? Our country is how many trillions in debt already??? You all realize that they want NO INTERFERENCE by LAW in how they use the money, right?? and THEY WANT NO OVER SIGHT.. IS the purpose really to bail out the homeowners, or is it to line the pockets of those who put the country into this economic disaster??

Let me ask you this...has BUSH and his cronies done anything for YOU lately??? IF NOT...then why would you be willing to believe or TRUST him to do so now??? I don't believe this is about saving the little guys like you and I...it's about saving the g.damned bankers who screwed all the little guys to begin with...another way of rewarding the banking industry who was getting rich at YOUR expense all along....I have also read that there were a lot of people who messed themselves over, by inflating their income, or deflating what they owed for other bills such as cc debt, when filling out their application for a mortgage...managing to squeak into a high priced home...while secretly knowing they couldn't afford it..

Our high schools need to teach economics...and our parents need to show an example of how IF your paycheck is thus and so...you may not have thus and so...we adults need to teach our kids that just because you want it all...doesn't mean you can have it all, especially all at once..That sometimes you have to settle for something less...and work your way up...That you have to allow yourself money to live on, because if you have to spend close to every dime of your pay on a house payment, there is not going to be enough left over for the necessities...There's enough fault here, to go around...The Banks who now want bailed out, are responsible for NOT investigating to make sure that an applicant really CAN/COULD afford that particular house at this time....just as some of the ones applying for home loans needed to tell the truth on their applications...and admit, before they got the keys to that $200,000 home, that maybe, just maybe, they were making a foolish choice...

I think before we get too emotional, and take offense at what anyone says...we need to find out the details of this bailout...and EXACTLY WHAT they intend to do with that money...The fact that they insist on NO REGULATION, and NO OVERSIGHT on $700 BILLION worries me...how about you??...Our country has been robbed blind, by the current administration...we need to know if this is just another set up that allows them to continue the raping and pillaging of our economy and our Democracy and to top it off...at OUR OWN expense..Should we continue to finance our own demise, or do we demand it stop??....wb
