That's how big last week was.

Obama won the election last week. We don't see it now... but that's what the history books will tell our grandchildren.

Basically... that is all from Repukes. Nearly all Democrats and most Indies already disapproved of him. The "30%-ers" were the most hardcore of Republicans.

The events of the past week tipped a third of THOSE away from Bush.

That's big.

Bush is in Nixon-of-August-1974 territory.

1. Somebody once told me he'd never fall below 20%.
That it was statistically impossible.

Heh.

7. We sometimes overestimate the number of mouth breathers who walk among us
We also often overestimate the number who disapprove because of the same reason we disapprove.

2. ARG polls are dicey
I'm not saying they are wrong, but their polls range from amazingly accurate to spectacularly wrong.

ARG is often right, except when they are wrong.

6. Who are these 19%ers?
Are they just SO obsessed with Fuhrer Bush that no matter WHAT he does or doesn't do, they still support him?
And I thought the Baa'hists of Iraq were 'dead-enders'.

10. McSame needs to be held accountable: He CAMPAIGNED for that dumbass!
Talk about poor judgment. He helped get the guy elected, even after Chimpy just beat him in the primary.

The Repukes are so big on individual responsibility and accountability -- so they say -- and McSame as much as anyone is responsible for helping this guy get in office --twice!

11. If the poll is accurate, then I'm furious with the greedy selfish SOBs who still supported him
until their own grubby dollar bills got compromised. Bush had their support when he was destroying the country and waging war against innocents half a world away.

14. Given that the remaining 19% are the mental equivalent of gerbils,
I would call his current rating zero. And they said it couldn't be done.

15. If it hits 10%
before he leaves office then the freepers can know what it's like to be a tenpercenter.

(Remember in the days after 9/11 when *'s disapproval rating was 10% - which included most DUers).

I've been embarrassed for my county since the day he was selected. It would be funny and sad if he weren't so deeply slimmy.
