Dilemma: Which channel to watch the debate *analysis* on? |
|
Edited on Mon Sep-22-08 11:53 AM by kay1864
ie not the debate itself, but the post-analysis. CNN usually has a good balance of commentators, but it looks like Friday they've got their usual schedule of Larry King and Anderson Cooper.
Who does a good post-game? NBC? CBS? Does C-SPAN?
Or should I just stick with Comedy Central? :P

Uninterrupted coverage of the conventions was a godsend. The debates will be less interjection-heavy on the networks, but those pundits are still morons every time they speak. Who's ready to hear from some gutless journalist how McCain "won"?

Save yourself aggravation and pain; enjoy the wonderful privilege of making up your own mind who you think won.

Will these guys be allowed on to help balance the panels after the debate? I know they're no longer doing the "objective" anchoring, but I would be thankful for that if they are now free to counteract the ridiculous spin from Buchanan et al. I hated how KO had to tamp it down and try to be an anchorman. I'm hoping we'll see him unleashed now when it comes to commentary!

9. yeah, I'd have thought MSNBC now more than ever, for the commentary |
|
...now that he and Chris will be not only allowed but expected to express their opinions. Not that it's ever been particularly difficult to guess what Keith's views are....

10. Keith & Tweety will probably be there, most likely Rachel as well |
|
But Douchebag Gregory will be in charge, and he'll no doubt have Buchanan, Joey Scarface, and probably Old Man Brokenjaw on hand to shout them down and make sure they don't spoil the prefabricated spin that McCrazy "won" the debate.
Just like Chimpy "won" all of his against both Gore and Kerry. And if anyone believes that was true, I got a bridge in Alaska to sell you.

8. I'm going to consult with my tabby cat and see what he has to say about it. |

He doesn't drool as much as Tweety.

Because MSRNC took Keith and Tweety out and stuck David Gregory (R-Prick) in.
