ASHWAUBENON — Supporters lined up this morning outside the Resch Center to see Democratic presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., speak at noon.

Shortly after 8:30 a.m., the line had reached beyond the Don Hutson Center. The crowd leaned younger and more diverse than the gathering at the rally last week for Republican presidential candidate Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., and his running mate Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, also held at the Resch Center, 1901 S. Oneida St.

Staff from the Obama campaign mingled today with the crowd and riled them up, saying “When I say ‘O,’ you say ‘Bama.’”

2. Do you know if Obama will have a rally in MN, too?
We could use some of that. The polls are close in MN.

I do expect to see them increase their focus and presence there.

7. I thought it was North Dakota, not Montana, unless he did it for both states which I wouldn't doubt.

It's like he's getting confused about what to say and is sounding....choppy.

Edit: Ok, it looks like he's gotten back on track.
