In addition, just 17% approve of his handling of the economy. Americans disapprove of Bush's handling of the economy by almost a 5-to-1 margin! (78% to 17%)

Why the hell should anybody even consider his plan?

Kudos to the Dems for finally showing some spine and standing up to him. With these numbers, they should just completely ignore him.

4. Wow, that's the lowest I've seen his approval ratings
They were around 30% before. It looks like even the slobbering sycophantic crazies are turning on him. When it comes to war, Bush's psychopathic base is willing to support him as long as they don't have to go. But when it comes to their own bank accounts, that's another matter. They realize the Chimp screws up everything he touches.

5. Although the Dems really had no excuses for their behavior during this session

I will REALLY blow a gasket if they end up capitulating to Bush's demands for a "clean" (read: blank check) on this bailout. At 19% there should be NO EXCUSE WHATSOEVER for ramming a "clean" bill through Congress. If there has ever been a time to DEMAND genuine accountability and responsibility for this mess it is NOW!!!

7. Bush doesn't know shit; never did, never will.
Wish I could get a picture of him and I standing together, but wearing those "I'm with stupid" and "Stupid" shirts. You know which one he'd be wearing. That would be worth getting within 10 miles of him.
