Poll question: Why are McCain and Palin still campaigning together?
Barack Obama and Joe Biden manage to go out on their own. Why can't the Republican candidates do the same?

1. Palin is the only one drawing crowds
Without her, no one would attend McCain speeches and rallies, which is pretty damned embarassing when the media shows up.

3. McCain has the charisma of a fence post.
Sarah, for all her failings, can draw a crowd.

6. "McCain needs Palin to draw a crowd"
He's tired of speaking to empty seats, though he is saving thousands in camera operators!

13. Bring in the clowns!
Ha! She's an empty headed nit wit... they can't teach her enough fast enough to keep up with all the speeches, so we're hearing the same one over and over... and there are still enough people finding her interesting... that in itself is very telling! Ding dongs!

15. Yeah, that is about all the excitement these nitwits are gonna get.
A robotic repeat of her past speech.

9. OTHER:
McCain needs Palin to draw a crowd of more then 5 people.
Palin needs McCain to tell her what to say, when to talk, and when to just smile and look pretty.

They're like ying & yang.. they don't work without each other. :eyes:

10. Paliin was at The Villages retirement town in FL. I just heard from an acquaintence who saw her.
She said," 60,000 people packed like sardines - literally, you couldn't move an inch! ....you couldn't help but be caught up in the frenzy and hoop-la! ......"

I reminded her that the Germans loved Hitler and couldn't help but be caught up in the frenzy and hoop-la, too.

16. And why the hell is Todd Palin always there?
Him looming in the background just creeps me out. At least Michelle and Jill can hit the trail and give speeches. Todd just stands there.

23. Hey, leave Todd alone!
He's probably the smartest banana in the bunch--which of course isn't exactly a compliment.

I'm sure his politics are reprehensible, but he sure seems like a cool guy. That video on TPMtv of him cringing every time Greta van Sustrin babbles "first dude" is hilarious.

22. Palin draws the attention and McCain brings "legitimacy"
Combined they equal one cruddy candidate but separately they are each a farce or epic proportions.
