Yikes!

On why he picked her:

"I was so impressed with her the couple of times we met, and we were vetting her all the time."

Uh huh.

Scott Paley:

"In your judgment can you see her as President of the United States?"

McLame:

"Absolutely."

Paley:

"As President of the United States?"

McLame:

"Absolutely. What, what, would that do for the morale of America? My goodness, the more I think about it, maybe we ought to switch. Ha, ha."

The morale of America?

She may know nothing about foreign policy or economic policy, but what a rush!

Maybe, they really ought to switch, since she'd probably wind up as Prez anyway. At least, the American people would know what they were really getting.

My God, what's wrong with this man?

1. Craven ambition.
He just wants to get to the finish line; he doesn't care if he drops dead as he's crossing it. He has long since sold parts of his soul he didn't even know were there.

Try doing that yourself and tell me if that feels sincere?

5. He blinked? Sarah would never blink.
She's like Steve Forbes, or something.

6. "Morale"? What is the McCain campaign now, the equivalent of the USO
bringing pinup girls overseas to entertain the troops?

7. If, god forbid, McCain wins this thing...
watch him put Palin in the back room so fast it'll make her glasses fly off. He'll try to use this token female to help win and then he'll put her "back in her place" faster than she can say "Mooseburger to go". She's an even bigger idiot than he is if she thinks this womanizer will let her play any kind of important role in his administration. What a joke.
