They have been strategically placed around my Obama sign by the front of the house. A 12d nail is 3-1/4" long. The screaming will be a good indicator that someone is trying to abscond with my sign.

18. My habanero defense

My Garden has produced an abundance of peppers this year (seven different types.) I have never grown habaneros before and, after eating a few, I doubt that I'll grow them again.

But since I finally picked up an Obama/Biden sign to put up near my country driveway, I've decided to throw a bunch of habaneros in the blender, crush them up and liberally coat my Obama sign with the paste, all around the edges where a sign thief is likely to grab it.
