as if he's a Dem. and has been a populist Indy all these years. We CAN'T let him get away with this! People who are just tuning in to this election may see McCain as the "maverick" he USED to be which could explain why the polls are still close. I can't WAIT for the debates so Obama can set the record straight on BOTH their positions!

4. He pretty much has to name Dems to his cabinet...
...or so said David Brooks a few weeks ago. He said all the likely suspects for a GOP cabinet have already been burned out working for Chimpy and are aching to go make some big bucks finally.

So McSame's only options are to hire Dems or take Repukes out of the House or Senate. And the latter really isn't a choice, since the GOP is likely to be even more of a minority after the election.

9. And I love how McShame, after Obama's brilliant press conference with the great

visual of the Clinton economic team and all it symbolized, McLame last night in the 60 Minutes interview transparently pandered, he's now appointing a Clinton person. Panicky, desperate.

I also love how Barack never comes off as reactionary. Obama saying he'd keep Paulson on for the transition didn't sound phoney or pandering, it just made sense.

10. Obama has already stated he will appoint Republicans to his cabinet
He said he is a big admirer of Lincoln and how he appointed several political rivals to his cabinet.

Obama, or surrogates, have floated names like Chuck Hagel, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Michael Bloomberg (was a Republic, now is Independent)

12. Obama's not pretending to be something he's not, though...
and he's not doing 180s every day on economic issues.
