Evan Bayh: McCain is a hypocrite! |
|
Evan Bayh just said on Norah O'Donnell's show MSNBC that McCain has had a deathbed conversion saying now that he opposes the Golden Parachute for CEOs when in the past he gladly gave it to them. Furthermore, responding to Norah's question that Obama has not been specific about his plans for the economy and saying the fuzzy term "change"...Bayh said that it is McCain that does not have any plans and that it is Obama that is on the campaign trail talking specifics about the economy.

He has exceeded my expectations as an Obama surrogate.

4. Glad to hear he's making himself useful for our side. |

That hasn't always been the case.

5. YES! Go Bayh! Glad he batted down that old false claim of people |
|
that Obama just talks vaguely about change. That's a right wing spin top ten statement.
Glad Bayh corrected that because Barack gives lots of specifics. Just because the reporter hasn't read Obama's detailed plans or listened to his speeches in full and expects that many others haven't either, they go along with the RW spin.

7. I wish all Democrats would be so bold. |

And go ahead and say that while JSM III may be technically qualified for the Presidency, he is unfit to serve. He has no new ideas and would bring in Deregulation Tzar Phil Gramm as Treasury Secretary, and showed poor, rash judgment in the choice of his VP.
I am seriously concerned about his grasp of facts. To forget the colorful name of Spain's Prime Minister, when they have contributed troops to the administration's war on terror, was yet another gaffe added on to a growing list.
Just because he's not a rabid global warming denier, doesn't mean that he's not in the pocket of the oil companies, trying to find a way to monopolize the distribution of alternative energy sources, rather than democratize power distribution.
