Rachael beat Hannity AND King last Friday night. |
|
in the 24 to 54 demo. That means she bead King 4 out of 5 nights. http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/ratings/the_scoreboard_friday_sept_19_95232.aspHow cool is that? She's my fav. Good for her and keep watching. We can take back the media.

3. I'm still hoping Rachel asks somebody like GREG PALAST on her show |
|
Now that she has the slot (and apparently good ratings), I hope she'll give some air time to voices that NEED TO BE HEARD in this country!

Still nothing compared to the RW echo chamber, but it's a good start!

I also think she needs to find her own 'voice'. She seems to take KO's tone a lot. She'll get there, she's very talented.

13. Disagree - She Is Solidly Liberal Even If It Means Taking On Democrats, But... |
|
Edited on Mon Sep-22-08 06:28 PM by Median Democrat
She does so in a very professional, intelligent way. The woman is a Rhodes scholar, and it shows. In other words, she is liberal without being partisan, which is no small trick to pull off.

You may be missing my point. "Taking someone's tone" means she's imitating him. There are similarities in their deliveries. Both invent voices when reading quotes from idiot right-wingers, etc.

But how come the evil General Electric corporate heads are even allowing such program to be broadcast in the first place?
Doesn't this type of show negatively impact their bottom line? It's almost like somebody at GE has a divine non-corporate need to get some real journalism back in to the American Dialog?
How come corporate decision makers are valuing principals and American Democracy more than the corporate bottom line? There is something out there greater than profit for Corporations?

I think you're confusing the name with Raphael. Not picking on just you. I see this misspelling often.

22. I'm such a worry wart! |
|
When this program went on the air, I, stupidly thought that it would be a risk. Sink or swim. Well, I definitely underestimated the appetite of the public. It's more than a "swim" it's more like a Michael Phelps gold medal!
These ratings are VERY meaningful. The only thing I don't like about the show is the "Ask Pat" but I don't blame Rachel -- she's trying to be balanced. I just feel like I can't turn on the TV without listening to Pat Buchanan and he's starting to bug!
