McCain Campaign Enters Bat-house Panic Levels! |
|
Edited on Mon Sep-22-08 05:50 PM by berni_mccoy
I kid you not. I just listened to the McCain Campaign Press Conference on POTUS 08 (XM Satelite Radio). These guys have gone completely off the deep end.
First of all, they shouted at almost every question. SHOUTING. LOUDLY. SPEAKING. RAPIDLY.
I actually heard one of the McCain Campaign people sounding like he was out of breath as he responded to questions!
To summarize their answers:
WE ARE NOT LYING AND THE MSM HAS BEEN UNFAIR IN NOT CALLING OUT OBAMA'S LIES!
OBAMA HAS LOBBYISTS.
REZKO. AYERS! LOBBYISTS! LIES! TERRORISTS!
Keep in mind, these aren't tinfoil freepers. These are McCain's Campaign Staff! (on edit... well we don't really know that they aren't tinfoil freepers)
Chuck Todd was on the line and he asked who McCain was consulting with in Congress regarding the Bailout Proposal by Paulson. Again, in an angry, raised voice: "WE ARE NOT GOING TO DISCUSS THE DETAILS OF THE SENATORS DISCUSSIONS!" I could actually hear Chuck gasp a little.
To the McCain Campaign: Get. A. Grip. Yeah, you guys are down in the polls, but you are not doing your candidate any favors by sounding this desperate or freaked out. And, BTW, attacking Obama with Rezko and Ayers is not really a great idea. Just ask ABC how well that went for them. Ask them what the public thought about those kinds of smear attacks and they'll tell you they aren't hosting any of the Presidential debates. But, you go right ahead if you think that's best. Really. Do it. It explains why you guys are in the position you are.

Cut them slack, though. They are trying to run a campaign, and squash investigations at the same time.

18. The JSM III campaign team are those elite guys Rove talked about |
|
lined up on the side of the room at a cocktail party making sarcastic remarks about the other guests. Rove pitched that image to represent the opposition, but it was more like a mirror. He was describing the John Sidney McCain III team to a tee. They think the public is stupid.
The public may have been charmed by Sitcom Sarah's colorful life, and they might watch the first ever reality TV show from a governor's mansion-- Governor Barracuda, premiering November 10, 2009 on the E! channel :sarcasm: -- but that doesn't mean they'd vote for the person to be Vice President.

They've got to make McCain blow his lid in public. We really need to see McCain screaming obscenities on the evening news.
When he calls a female reporter a c**t on camera, we'll know it's over.

30. And the best way to do that is to impugn his "honor" and |
|
integrity. How to do that? Accuse him of lying, say that it's unbecoming a US Senator and UNBECOMING AN OFFICER AND A GENTLEMAN. Say that his recent behavior has brought dishonor to himself, his Party, the Senate, the US Navy, and this country. Say that his voting record proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that he has sold out the troops. Then, stand back and watch him self-destruct. :nuke:

|
And you know, I think the MSM is finally doing it's job. I see Meredith Viera put the smackdown on McDouchebagg over Carly Fiorna and her golden parachute. I read George Will et al. of the grownup wing of the GOP basically call Mooseburger a joke I've got to think something's afoot. The focus on McDouchebagg's non-regulating past and recent present is particularly refreshing. It goes to one of the basic differences between the left and right.

I think someone talked about it on KO last night (had it on in the background, maybe Jonathan Alter?). We can only hope his temper/uptightedness/attitude continues to rub off on his staff more and more everyday.
Thanks for posting!
