I now have 3 Obama shirts, another on the way (my wife has at least that many and maybe one, or two more), several bumper stickers (the result of a couple signing up, and donating for the same goodies), and a sign we held for the Obama Pride contingent of Boston Pride. I still want the Obama sneakers.

13. Nice. I can't wait to have another Obama shirt |
|
I wore my "special edition" Obama shirt (which I got for a $30 donation at the end of of July) to the Patriots game.... which I only wore for tailgaiting, as I topped it with my first ever Patriots jersey I bought shortly before kickoff. The jersey helped hide my moobs. :o

Can you only donate to the campaign and/or buy stuff like this if you live in America?

You could buy outside US, I think. Try thru www.demstore.com (I think you need to be a U.S. citizen for Obama's official site. Not sure about DNC...)

10. To donate, you must be an American Citizen |
|
However, I "think" you can still purchase items from the campaign (and it won't count as a donation). I "assume" you can make the donation to Moveon in the same manner too. I had to list my occupation, but not whether I was a citizen.

15. I gave away one of my one of our several DU bumperstickers tonight |
|
There was an Obama event right next to our building. I saw the big Obama signs, and the large amount of cars and went down to be nosy. I talked to the guy holding the large Obama sign directing cars, and chatted him up. I told him my wife and I were "Democratic Bloggers" (which he was very excited about) and gave him one of the stickers I had and told to him to check it out and pass it on. I hope he passes it on, but I'll settle for him joining.
I don't have a DU shirt, and neither does my wife. Do they have new designs since 2004?

16. Was that the "limited edition" shirt? |
|
I got that, and I wear it often.
I need to wear my "Obama Pride" shirt more often. I don't even think of wearing it to my job site (it's not gay friendly, much less any sort of minority friendly. In fact, today one of the workers asked me today if I was "trolling for queers?"). Fuck, almost all ethnicities are openly shat on, save for Irish, and thankfully for me, French Canadiens. The French are hated though. I'm stunned to hear people talking just like my looooooooong dead grandfather did.

|
and yes it is shocking when people say that stuff out loud and don't even think about it.

I missed out on that shirt. I didn't really have the money, and was too skittish (shit, I still am) about my employment.

25. Weekend wearer only... |
|
I can't wear my Mamas For Obama shirt to work but the family gets decked out on the weekend. My 2 yr old wears a onesie that says Obama, Time for a Change. My 11 yr old wears her Obama Girl shirt and my husband his baseball cap. I would love to wear my shirt to work on casual Friday but all the damn fish on the cars discourage me.

but on the my current project, our clients make it uncomfortable. I still wear them, but it's uncomfortable, so I tend to sometimes shy away from wearing one. I still wear them when it's their turn in the rotation usually though.
