14. Pat is arguing that the collapse of the economy is the result

of the 'liberal' practice of writing mortgages to people who couldn't afford them. Rachel is not backing down stating that is is the philosophy of conservatism and it's deregulation that's the root cause. She basically shouted him down with the idea that govt shouldn't be run by people who disdain government.
