32. He was much better on Letterman than the View.
What he projected to the average non-political junky is that he is very smart, and he's for Obama. They aren't picking apart every statement looking for betrayal.

He hurt Hillary in the primaries because he says what he thinks. He didn't deliberately try to ruin things. He's doing the same now.

but couldn't he have vetoed the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act that lifted all the regulations and led to this situation?

That pretty much sums it up. :(

Obama should force Bill Clinton to where an Obama button whenever he goes out in public. Eventually he'd get the message.

23. Kind of? He's totally infusing praise and support.
Barack gave an historic speech today where he outlined his plan for what he would do for our country's economic future.

You'd think he'd mention it and at least talk at length on some of the points that Obama mentioned today.

But, no. He could barely muster a compliment for Obama during this interview.

Ultimately, Stewart's job is to make people laugh, and he knows that. I don't see him going after Big Dog very hard...not his style for the most part, unless you can tell he really doesn't like his guest. I suspect Jon likes Bill enough that he won't be doing any attacking.

22. Tonight he's selling a book. In 1992 he was selling himself and was happy to
run home to Arkansas to kill Ricky Ray Rector.

Same then as now, Bill selling Bill, this isn't about Obama, or about us, or about what's best for our country.

"By 1992, Bill Clinton was insisting that Democrats "should no longer feel guilty about protecting the innocent" and took a position strongly supporting capital punishment. To make his point, he flew home to Arkansas mid-campaign to affirm that the execution would continue as scheduled." (wikipedia)

I don't care for Bill Clinton.

The only positive thing that I could see coming from this current Clinton media blitz is some winger heads exploding over Clinton heaping praise on McCain, while ignoring Obama.

criticizing McCain. They always go through all this great man former POW bullshit, just what did he do he got shot down and was a POW? How many people were POWs over the years, I don't buy the hero crap he was tortured and then cooperated with the enemy. The heroes were the ones that didn't break down under torture and never came home. Over a half million people served in Vietnam and many died or were maimed for life they are the heroes. Just what did he do that anyone else wouldn't have done? Look at Max Cleland now that's a hero and the Republicons morphed him into Bin Laden.

I was a Hillary supporter myself, but am now fully entrenched behind Obama and Biden.

I take every chance I get to slam McCain and Palin. I guess it's too much to ask that the party's last elected President (yeah, yeah, 2000 and 2004), do the same.
