Random opinions so contrary probably nobody here will agree with them:

1. Sarah Palin's yahoo email used for government business should carry no right of privacy (that said, a court order is the proper way to get the contents revealed, not hacking. but i'm not crying that it was done.)

2. Bill Clinton like all other presidents, offers only tepid support about another's ability to do the job as well as himself, with one exception. In all fairness, he is biased about that exception --and he damn well should be.

3. John F. Kennedy was an excellent candidate, running against Nixon no less :puke: and Kennedy just barely won. That he just barely won doesn't make him any less of a candidate.

4. 51% of voters have voted to reelect George W. Bush. Don't tell me you know what would help us win, you don't because what wins simply doesn't make any sense.

5. Regarding that 51%, more than any policy position Democrats could take, Democrats should simply kick ass really hard once in a while (not on anything specific) --that will probably get them more votes with this crowd than any rational reason.

6. If you meet someone who won't vote for Obama because they are prejudiced, point out to them that if they get their way, Obama will have lost because he is black. And that if that happens, everyone will know this is a racist nation and they were part of a racist decision. If they are tired of hearing that the USA is racist, perhaps they should vote for Obama to send a message that we are not what we sometimes seem. I have a feeling this is the only argument that has any chance of getting to a racist voter.

7. I love my cat, but he doesn't really *do* anything. :hide:

1. The one thing about which I beleive you are totally wrong....
51% of voters have voted to reelect George W. Bush.

I will never believe that election was won by Bush...It was just stolen a bit m,ore subtly than the one in 2000

2. In the middle of the Great Depression...
...Herbert Hoover still got 40% of the vote. Proof that people can still be stupid in the face of overwhelming evidence.

And then, there is the OJ trial...
