Pennsylvania Obama 48, McCain 45 Obama +3
Florida McCain 51, Obama 46 McCain +5

Michigan Obama 51, McCain 44 Obama +7

Nice to see him up 7 in Michigan. Not too bad in the rest, though it would be nice to see Ohio and Florida a little closer.

1. What? This has nothing to do with Bill Clinton!
:P

Really though, I'm sad we're still 5 behind in Florida. Do these numbers count the indy candidates?

4. i Don't trust that Florida poll
i have been registering ppl to vote, and i can tell you it has been very good for Obama... I have never been polled.. I don't believe that poll..

I am still hoping that the ppl from my State vote for Obama.

5. I don't think the polls are intentionally skewed, but
I wouldn't be surprised if they're underestimating the number of first-time voters that Obama will get.

If Obama can bring in those 1.3 million likely-dem voters from Florida who didn't vote last time, he'll win the state. That's why registering people and getting out the vote is so important this year. We need to capitalize on the enthusiasm.

6. worthless fucking polls
Telephone surveys of 500 people. error +/- 4.5 percent. These Rasmussen polls are fucking worthless.

9. Interesting two polls come out today with Obama up in VA
But it's the Fox News poll that says he's behind. They are working overtime to create their horse race narrative. And has anyone noticed that Rasumussen's polls that aren't attached to Fox News generally have better numbers for Obama?

10. Uggg....not Rasmussen. I will look at any polls but their's.
They are so behind in the daily tracking that it makes any other poll they do worthless to me.

11. I have an awful feeling that the GOP are about to steal another election.
Keep the polls close so when they hone in on a state or two for voter disenfranchisement, it won't get enough attention. They can always count on the M$M to support their treachery. Damn, I'll work my heart out ... phones, canvassing BUT I'm truly concerned.

14. Wasn't there a post here earlier today about a former Gallup employee
who talked about how Gallup and other pollsters use polls to manipulate elections? Well, we have to help Obama by canvassing if we live in battleground states. Better to do things like that then worry endlessly. :)

13. If even Fox is showing him ahead in Pennsylvania and Michigan, I think we're safe there (for the
time being.) Virginia is heartening, though even for Fox I have to question Ohio and Florida.

18. Yep. That's why I'm glad to see the Michigan result, which is a pretty big margin.
As long as we hold on to Michigan, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and NH, there are lots of ways we can win.

17. I'm becoming very skeptical of Rasmussen
As they are using quotas for pary identification, based on their assumption which continue to change by week. I would be much more interested in the university polls that do not have any corporate backing.
