8. The poll ended on Sept. 21
But the date of the article linked in RCP is dated Sept. 18. I'm confused lol.

9. Wrong link...
...that's to Q's national poll of last week (O 49 - M 45). The link to the newer state results is in the first reply.

I notice that those polls were taken over the weekend...and, obviously, do not include reaction to yesterday's big stock market fall.

11. The polls were conducted September 14-21.Read my post above. But I agree that the date...
of the article is contradictory if you look at when the polls were conducted.

13. That's why the Obama campaign moved its people from ND to
MN and WI. They don't want to let those slip.

Minnesota will come around.

7. What in the hell is up with Minnesota? It is getting close
enough for them to steal with Palenty in the mix.

12. Is Pawlenty going to help them much...?
Considering that he was reportedly quite pissed over not getting the VP nod, I'm not sure he'd be all that likely to move mountains for McCain/Palin (particularly if he has hopes of running in 2012).

14. Ras had O up by much more yesterday
athought that's a high end number. I think this represents a low end number. Real number is probably around 3 or 4.

16. I've seen some lists that say Wisconsin is a swing state
That seems to be one that is slowly moving away from that category.

17. Ohio and PA are crucial, too. What's the latest there?
Edited on Tue Sep-23-08 06:37 AM by DFW
I'm stuck (or privileged to be, depending on your point of view) in Europe
until Christmas, and don't have time to be constantly in front of a computer.

On edit--I heard from family in northern Virginia that Obama was even up there!!!
Is that still the case?

19. Colorado
From the start it was my thought that the impoertant win for Obama will be Colorado

For me it´s much easier to win Colorado than Florida or Ohio. A lot of positive movement for the democratic party.

So win Colorado (I think New mexico is mor eless clear) and keep the kerry states and Iowa and Mc cain is history.

All the other states mean additional defead for Mc cain but victory means Colorado at least in my oppionion

Comparing the polls 2004 with this time it seems unlikly that Mc Cain can win a kerry state (not imposible but unlikly).

21. So, Minnesota...
Minnesota, the state that hasn't voted for a republican president since 1972, the only state Walter Mondale won in 1984, is only showing a 2% lead for Obama? What. The. Fuck?
