Phone banked in North Carolina last night

It was my first time doing this and I must say not nearly as bad as I thought. Spent about 3 hours making phone calls to registered Dems and unaffiliated. Plenty of unanswered phones but out of all the people I talked to only 1 unaffiliated stated they were voting for McCain, only 1 dem was undecided, and 20 very enthusiastic supporters for Obama! Do not count North Carolina out. PS I was making phone calls to affluent neighborhoods in Union County NC, very conservative part of the state.

A lot of talk....interesting. A lot of action.....gets the job done. Call, canvas, write a letter to the editor. Donate$..and not just to Obama...throw a fews bones to the local candidates.
