Biden distances himself from (one) Obama-Biden ad
more: http://blogs.abcnews.com/politicalpunch/2008/09/oh-that-joe--10.html

Couric was apparently referring to the fact that an Obama-Biden TV ad tried to make fun of Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., for being so out of touch he doesn't use a computer -- though as ABC News reported, the real reason McCain doesn't use a computer is because of his war wounds. Small tasks make his shoulders ache, so he tries to avoid any repetitive exercise.

"I thought that was terrible by the way," Biden said of the ad.

"Why'd you do it then?" asked Couric.

"I didn't know we did it and if I had anything to do with it, we would have never done it," Biden said, "and I don't think Barack, you know, I just think...I don't think there was anything intentional about that, they were trying to make another point."

1. Maybe after 7 more people post this, it'll sink in. Until then, I'm not sure why it matters. nt

2. and I don't see what the problem was with the ad. wrinkles himself has stated that he is computer
illiterate.

what the hell is going on with him and the big dawg anyway? suddenly the dems are supposed to play nicey-nice, not point out the flaws in the other party and its chosen ones?

4. Biden has already released a statement about this, and if you look for the many other threads on
this, you will see what he said.

8. The ad was humorous. Biden should not have second-guessed Obama's approving the ad.
Sorry, Biden pulled a Lieberman 2000 here in my eyes, and an Edwards 2004.

The VP candidate does not second-guess the presidential candidate's campaign.

Maybe Joe should ask himself why it is that he didn't win a single primary, while Obama and Hillary did.

So Joe is Mr. Nice Guy, "above it all". Reminds me of Lieberman and Edwards in the last two cycles.

11. Uh, Edwards and Lieberman had no fire and never attacked at all
Biden has been attacking McLiar for two weeks straight, mostly on the economy. He probably shouldn't have said it but its more Joe being Joe and talking too much then being like Edwards or Lieberman.

12. Petty shit. Really petty.
How dare you compare Joe to Lieberman or Edwards.

Just asinine.

10. So Biden negated McCain's sorry POW defense while showing that he's his own man?
