McCain's reply over adopting a handicapped child from Bangladesh
Excerpt:

Needless to say I was irritated at his large ego, and his rude behavior towards his wife and other women, but decided he must have some redeeming qualities as he had adopted a handicapped child from Bangladesh. I asked him about this one day and his response was shocking ""Oh, that was Cindy's idea " I didn't have anything to do with it. She just went and adopted this thing without even asking me. You can't imagine how people stare when I wheel this ugly, black thing around in a shopping cart in Arizona. No, it wasn't my idea at all."

3. We shouldn't be reporting remours that only have one source. Easy
for it to be a setup by the GOP to garner McCain sympathy. There is a whole other thread talking about this.

4. ROVE TACTIC. STOP SPREADING THIS FALSE STORY.
You are just helping to innoculate McCain from the real stories of his generally poor demeanor and "loose cannon" behavior. This false testimonial is PURE ROVE. Stop giving them the materials they need to point to the media and state, "see the media is bashing McCain with false stories about his demeanor."

STOP IT. Don't be gullable.

10. Do some research and CRITICAL THINKING for once. Find the Psychologist online then get back to me.
The Psychologist, who supposedly wrote this, does not exist. All clinical psychologists MUST be licensed by the state they practice in, which is a PUBLIC RECORD that is readily accessible. If she exists, which I do not think she does, then her licensure would be recorded. Also, she would likely be a member of the American Psychological Association, which also keeps a PUBLIC RECORD of their membership roles.

Don't be duped....unless you are here at DU to help spread the disinformation, hunh?

11. Ludicrous? how bout --> "McCain Sells Out Vets"
This is how much John Mccain supports 'the troops' in Iraq/Afganistan...

Thirty-five years after McCain's return to the United States, " John McCain voted against veterans in 2004, '05, '06 and '07,"
McCain, the presumptive GOP presidential nominee, the candidate who talks the best talk on veterans issues, has demonstrated a tendency to work against veterans' interests, voting time after time against funding and in favor of privatizing services--in other words, of rolling back the VA's improvements by supporting some of the same policies that wrecked Walter Reed.

13. TIMELINE DOESN'T MATCH; kudos to new DUer chowder 66 for this.
Quote from another thread:

She says she was there/met him "just before" McCain's last run in 2000 but later states they got on the topic of the "active U.S. bombing of Iraq at that time". The Iraq war started in 2003.

Bogus story.
