I just met Joe Biden!

I work for a political organization in DC, and I just got to meet Joe Biden when he came to my office building. One of my coworkers snuck me up front (I'm short), so I got to shake his hand, and he looked right at me when he said that he ran for the Senate when he was about my age (I'm 24 and look 17, so I'm flattered that he thought I was 29!) I didn't manage to get a picture but it was still pretty exciting. Now when he becomes VP I can brag that I met him.

I would love to meet him. But, in my dream scenario, it's me, my husband, Obama, Michelle, Joe and Jill, some of our friends and we're all sitting around a bbq pit shooting the bull late into the night.

He talks about this girls he likes. He says they see each other all the time. Then he says, "Well, I see her.. you know that restraining order...can't get too close." :)

...awesome!! my wife and i got to meet him twice in Iowa before the caucuses. Went to a small thing at the mayor's house. we all had to take our shoes off because of the snow, so it was weird talking to him about chicago-style hot dogs in our socks! glad you got to meet him. you'll never forget it.

My boss did not want me to because I had a lot of work on my plate, but I figured it was worth it. If he wins and becomes VP I'll be able to say I met him.

19. SO neat!! Joe loves us. I got to greet and shake his hand last week

and he made a sweet comment to me. He connects one-on-one in an extraordinary way.
Brief as it was, I'm still not quite back down to earth. LOVE him. :-)
