Press Conference at Bernie's...

Anyone who just watched that halting, mumbling old man doing that press conference must be having flashbacks to a great comedy from the late 80's called "Weekend at Bernie's".

McClone looks like an upright stiff filled with WalMart embalming fluid. The weird grin, the furrowed brow, the stiff, halting delivery - the only thing missing are the sunglasses to hide the deer in the klieglights bloodshot eyes. A three shot would have shown Jonathan Silverman and Andrew McCarthy standing next to him, posing as whacked out Secret Service agents while surreptitiously throwing their voices and operating the animatronics pole shoved up POW POW's tightening sphincter.

I can't wait for the sequel...My Debate at Bernie's - where Captain Cadaver tries to convince us that he really still is a mouth breather.

We can all see why they keep old "Bernie" away from press conferences. Maybe they should just tow his sorry ass into the sunset across Lake Powell and be done with it...
