"Is Joe Biden dragging down the Democratic ticket?"
What a load of crap. How do they even think to ask this question when every single poll I've seen over the last week has Obama/Biden with a 4 to 6 point lead. In the state polls, the ones Obama must win, they are doing better as well.

I turn off MSNBC, take a look at CNN and this is what they are running with. Someone smart should write a letter we can all change up a little and send to CNN. This is the worst I've ever seen it. It's expected with Faux, anticipated with MSNBC, and now it's every single time with CNN.

Well, at least they are running with the rape kit story.

1. I can't vote on this thread. The poster's point is well taken. The anti-Biden smear is baloney

2. Oh Yes, He's as bad as Palin!!!!
Not!!!
Boy they really have to tie themselves into knots, don't they? How do these people sleep at night?
How do they live with themselves? Oh yes, they want celebrity, not journalism....

3. He isn't doing enough attacking. And he speaks out against one of our ads?
He certainly doesn't appear to be bringing a whole lot. And he hasn't exactly put PA out of reach.

5. He's a good man. I think America will see that. Wait till the VP debate. He's gonna shine.
Palin doesn't stand a chance against his experience.

I've got my popcorn ready!

9. I like Joe. But I'm disappointed in him as VP. Loved him on the Senate Floor
and the talk shows.

13. I hear ya.
But every morning I wake up to Sarah TV. Hell, I can't remember the last time they cut to Joe on the stump. But that stupid moose killing nut walks out a door and they are all over it.

I think if the coverage was a bit more fair, you might feel differently.

17. Have you watched one of his speeches on you tube?
He really goes after McCain and I read an article the other day about his reaching blue collar voters at all his campaign stops, the people hurting economically really relate to him.

Read this:

http://www.latimes.com/news/nationworld/nation/la-na-biden23-2008sep23,0,2653748.story?track=rss

"Away from the Senate, Biden is all folksy stories and plain speak. At one point, he tells a reporter, standing so close she is staring at his lapel, that he'd like to take some of these Republicans out behind the schoolyard -- "You know what I mean?"

We know. This is the "regular Joe" side of Joe Biden in full swing, the one who takes his coffee black and knows he married well because he has a "brother-in-law with a pickup truck."

This kind of talk goes over big at a labor union hall in Akron. His half-hour speech tends to meander, but when he asks how many people know someone with a house in foreclosure, more than half of the hands in the room go up. And when he repeats his father's advice about falling down, gritting his teeth and commanding "Geeet up!" they do, leaping to their feet in cheers."

20. If you think that, then you're not paying attention.
Maybe you need to be confined to the political video section for a while.

4. I love Biden. He is a great man who needs to be the next VP (and I wanted Hillary).
He has shown himself to be a man of conviction, and I know that's why Obama chose him over people like Richardson.

11. And who says there is no such things as a stupid question?
As Steven Wright said, Of course there are stupid questions. What kind of questions do you think stupid people ask? What do you think happens -- that they get smart just in time to ask a question?

14. The MSM right on schedule - using whatever angle they can to prop up McCain/Palin
If they can't praise them because they're sucking in their public appearances, they try to tear down Obama/Biden.

Biden's doing fine. We need someone who sounds passionately disgusted with the crap the McCain campaign is trying to float, and he sounds like a plain-talking Everyman when he expresses it - I can't think of anyone who could have been as effective with a 'grassroots' delivery except Brian Schweitzer.

15. Well, he hasn't prompted a line of eyeglasses
Or cute shoes, or hairstyles (please God, keep that the way it is)

Ack.

Palin's stirring up excitement because she's from bizarro world. Biden isn't as exciting to the MSM because he's just a smart, qualified, experienced person, and that's SO pre 8/30

18. Well, he is going to have to explain his FDR gaffe.
I can't imagine why he would say FDR was giving television broadcasts when the stock market crashed. That's two gaffes in one, and it is going to be harped on relentlessly, probably even used in campaign ads. He needs to jump on this now and explain it.

Geez, is this all they have to work with? Meanwhile Phalin won't let the press see her meet and greet with the many great leaders she supposedly is learning all the foreign policy expertise from.

Idiots like Gregory (or anyone spreading this garbage today) read what comes through their Blackberries by the campaigns, they do not use common sense, research, or think. People like them are killing this country.
