One would think there would be more press "revolting" about the arms length, photo op coverage they are bound to on the McCain plane.

Journalists? No - they are paparazzi chasing an intellectually vacant pop princess around the country.
Lets call them what they are - paparazzi press!

(but the sad thing is, lots of Amurcins eat that shit up!)
