John McCain tries to scare us into supporting the bailout.

"Further inaction is simply not an option," McCain said in brief remarks to reporters, his first news conference in more than a month. "We must pass legislation to address this crisis. If we do not, credit will dry up, with devastating consequences for our economy. People will no longer be able to buy homes and their life savings will be at stake. Businesses will not have enough money to pay their employees."

2. Whatever, McPork.
This is possibly the biggest pork bill in history.

If McCain uses his stage to push this through, his claim to be anti-pork is forever gone.

3. The clip I saw earlier suggested
he would like everybody else to vote for it so he could vote against it. The setting was a press conference where a reporter said Dems were saying John McCain would have to vote for it before it could pass. He responded that it shouldn't be up to him. The ideal thing for him would be for the crisis to go away with him getting to vote against.

4. What the hell is he talking about?
Credit has been dryed up for over 3years even for small businesses with good credit scores, so it's not much of a threat and show's how out of tough those who have so much money they don't have to use credit are...
