46. Not sure what's so controversial about that
Red flag, light bulb going off, just substitute whatever euphemistic phrase you want here. All I'm saying is that Jon Stewart's question put Bill Clinton on thin ice, but Bill Clinton skated across it gracefully. Sounds like more of an indictment on Stewart's question to me.

58. He's referring to the media's interpretation
of ALL of the actions done by himself and Hillary being examined under a suspicious microscope. A better way to put it is that he tried to end all of the drama about, "Will the Clintons support Obama?" during the Convention. After all, that was the purpose of the Convention, to unify the Party.

Edited on Wed Sep-24-08 12:31 AM by McCamy Taylor
However, it does not matter how many times Bill or Hillary says it. Obama himself has to demonstrate it by creating a connection with the voters.

This is what I wrote about a while ago in "The Giving Hillary".

http://journals.democraticunderground.com/McCamy%20Taylor/278

Bill isn't an ex-king. He can not "anoint" Obama.

Obama is having a problem making tangible what he's been doing the past 15 years. It's circumscribing his supportive demographic.
