Remember folks, when it comes to the MSM it's all about the narrative
I have to laugh at Rasmussen, and the others, that have this race dead even today. Raise your hand if you think it's even. Raise your hand if you think it's possible Obama could actually move ahead in FLA and Ohio in some polls, yet remain dead even nationally.

Does anyone remember the Survey USA poll that put Obama up 6 in VA yesterday? Talk about swept under the rug. Nobody reported that on any of the cable shows, and to my knowledge, on the network news broadcasts. Why? Because it's off message. It showed one of the candidates, in this case Obama, with a noteworthy edge in a key swing state that he had been behind in for quite some time.

The media wants a horse race, and that's what the public is being fed with the aid of pollsters. The fact of the matter is this race is not close. Obama is ahead, nationally, and in the states we need to win to put him in the WH but that's the last story the MSM wants to report. They are desperate to keep it close for the sake of ad revenue that is driven by TV ratings and also because of their bloated sense of self importance.

In a way this is all good news for us. Obama's strength has been under reported. That bodes well for election day.

1. It's probably best if the media paints it as very close with Obama ahead
That will provide maximum motivation to our own voters, who need to feel as if their votes are needed but also need to think their candidate will win.

2. True, we don't want anyone to stay home out of some sort of complacence
that he is gonna win anyway.

3. I would agree, but it cuts both ways
Conversely, Repug voters will also be drawn to the polls because they believe their candidate needs their vote to win. If there's a way that the MSM distortion hurts us, that's it in a nutshell.

4. I just want reassurance that the camapign is working on state purges due to HAVA
Hundreds of thousands of names have to be reconciled. They need to push an extra message due to election changes this year.
