Edited on Tue Sep-23-08 11:43 PM by Ava
well, actually a few stills from the video footage i shot. i've got a bit more editing to do, and then the video will go up.
http://www.new.facebook.com/album.php?aid=32043&l=53394&id=501299258

taken the first night:

senator ted kennedy delivers his speech

senator claire mccaskill delivers her speech

michelle obama's brother craig robinson

michelle obama gives her speech

michelle obama with malia and sasha

i was so happy i caught this moment on camera. malia told her mother something that cracked her up.

barack obama speaks to the girls and the crowd via satellite

taken on the floor, day 2:

john chiang

gov. joe manchin

gov. jim doyle

the stage was amazing. very very cool!

evil evil fox news.. of course their sign was the biggest and gaudiest of all the media signs.

msnbc's joe scarborough and andrea mitchell

if looks could kill...

some awesome hats on the floor

the alabama delegation's spot on the floor

former president jimmy carter spoke to the alabama and georgia delegations on the morning of day 3

one of the many banners in downtown denver. on day 3 i was able to walk around the 16th street mall and spend the morning and early afternoon checking out the city before bill clinton and joe biden's speeches.

world can't wait had a booth. they were also protesting near invesco field on the day of obama's speech. strangely enough, one of the ladies at this booth(the one staring at the camera) acted funny about me photographing and filming the booth.

a protester on the 16th street mall

lots of political activities going on at the 16th street mall

this was a protest of some sort. i never did find out exactly what it was, but there was a very very long line of bicyclists that stopped traffic for awhile.

4. Blast from the recent past! We didn't get to linger on the
Brilliance of the DNC at all because the toxicity of palin came too soon.

Thanks, Ava..Awesome pics..good for you being there. I had to look up Gov Jim Manchin..I missed him and didn't know he was Gov of West Virginia:bounce:

Must See OP!

5. Wow!
I just noticed how the entire convention was so well designed...and that the same set design followed over to Invesco Field. The circle of stars, the blue carpeting and the lecterns.

Democrats are soooo Classy.

Looks like you had a grand time.

Old Morning Joe seemed miserable though. Good! :)
