Hell has frozen over:FOX NEWS: McCain Aide’s Firm Paid by Freddie Mac "despite " what Mccain said

Boy he must have pissed them off with the no news, Palin NY thing

The lobbying firm of John McCain’s campaign manager was paid $15,000 a month for several years until last month by one of two housing companies taken over by the federal government, a person familiar with the financial arrangement said Tuesday night.

The report comes despite McCain’s earlier claim that Rick Davis “has had nothing to do with it” and has broken ties with the firm — one of several companies at the center of the global financial crisis.

According to sources, the money paid by Freddie Mac to Davis’ firm was in addition to the more than $30,000 a month that went directly to Davis for five years starting in 2000. Those payments came from both Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, the other housing entity now under government control because of the crisis in the financial markets.

The article said that even though Davis took a leave from the firm to join McCain’s campaign, as a partner he continues to share in the profits.

1. Obviously more lies from that bastion of left-wingedness, FOX News
They are so totally in the tank for Obama.

(The scary thing is, in Freepville my above statements would not be taken as sarcasm.)

2. On npr's 2 minute news recap tonight they quoted Obama in a speech saying
because of the economy he might not get to do all of his programs as quickly as he would like to. Then they took a quote out of mcstupid's speech where he said Obama had campaign contributions from freddie mac. npr never mentioned that mcstupid took much more money from freddie's contributions than Obama. They just listened to mcstupid, wrote down what he said and broadcasted it across the country.

4. It's the rats jumping ship
Think about it. They realize McCain is gonna lose this thing. Now they can really get to work being adversaries during the Obama administration.

5. The other day Fox reported all the earmarks Sarah Palin took in Alaska
Fox knows the fundies and rw base will vote for Repubs no matter what after being brainwashed so many years, so Fox must be trying to beef up their news credentials and ward off criticism by occasionally reporting some negative details debunking the McCain/Palin lies.
