and they will if they can. They'll try to divert attention with anything they can. The media will try to call it close to boost their ratings, and their bottom line. And if WE let them, they'll steal it again. Frivolous lawsuits and activist judges ARE their m.o., we've seen it in 2000. Publishing lies?...no problem. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

Do NOT. Let. Them. Steal. It. Again.

We know what's coming. We've seen it before.

1. add to that...not enough voting equipment in minority neighborhoods, and
the posting of fliers saying that if you owe child support, you'll be arrested if you vote.

Nine hour voting lines? These people don't give a shit. Their GOAL is to suppress the vote.

7. Did I post YOU MUST STOP THEM or are you imposing that for me? I thought I posted "Do NOT LET THEM

steal it again. Also, the idea that I posted no facts in my OP is a bit specious. I am also not that inclined to engage with people who do all of those things, and then call ME unreasonable.

But thanks. :)

Oh, and while we're at it, Kerry LET the swiftboat vets walk all over him for three weeks. He did nothing. I used to have a link, but have since gotten anew computer. If I recall correctly, he even identifies it as something he would have done differently. he thought the populace would see through it. But THAT three weeks went by in the late spring/summer of 2004 with John Kerry NOT responding to swift boat attacks is indeed a FACT. I lived it.

3. How do you PROTECT , AGAINST secret vote counting on corporate hard drives????
This will count some 90% or more of all American votes. Secrecy means no accountability because no information emerges, no checks and balances exist. yes, we can fight suppression and all other VISIBLE fraud, but don't forget that anyone with intelligence will go for the INVISIBLE portion of elections (the vote counts) and operate THERE -- since it doesn't create evidence, or, if it does, a very simple program can erase itself as its last step.

Only the voters can provide a check and balance on vote counting, because elections determine the governments power and money. But the voters have been X'd out of vote counting by the very nature of computer technology. Literally, no human being alive will have personal knowledge that any of the local counts are true. And we all know what happens to human recounts in presidential elections, right? Bush v. Gore: They are TERMINATED.

6. "He who cast the votes decides nothing. He who COUNTS the votes decide EVERYTHING"
I think that all too true statement came from Stalin (gasp), but even stopped clocks are right twice a day. I just posted about how lax security is with this voting equipment, and could not agree more with your sentiment.
